The Problem

UnitedRX was esctablished 10 years ago in 2008 by a group of pharmacists who saw the future. They wanted to provide the best long term care as well as a pharmacy that actually cared about their customers and their feedback. Since then, UnitedRX has grown to 6 pharmacies and over 200 employees who average 7 years of pharmacy experience. They serve over 130 facilities and their growth meant they needed to keep up with the rapid expansion of their burgeoning company. With the need for immediate scalability, access from anywhere, and reliability, they turned to Middleground Technologies for help.

Our Solution

Using the in depth IT experience at Middleground, UnitedRX’s entire server infrastructure was moved entirely to the Cloud. This would allow them to have a centralized server that hosted an environment for each of the pharmacies to connect seamlessly to one another. The Cloud was developed with future growth in mind, realizing that in only 10 short years they had gone from just starting out to 6 pharmacies spanning across 5 states. The technicians at Middleground effectively put in place an infrastructure that not only could handle the current pharmacy capacity but expand for their future development.

The Outcome

Through working with Middleground, UnitedRx has effectively been provided a seamless and simple way for their technicians to work within their server, even as they have grown and developed their pharmacies and expanded their client base. This allows UnitedRx to focus on their clients and patients without having to worry about their IT needs. Additionally, UnitedRX has also built upon their Cloud foundation by adding additional layers of Cyber Security to keep the environment secure against threats.
